If you desire to have your brand displayed as a dynamic, living, breathing entity, then contour graphic displays are the solution! This type of display can make your logo or image appear to leap right off the wall. The circumference, of most logos, does not usually fit a perfect rectangle. So why restrain it to this shape? Why not let the display wall be your canvas, and your logo be its art? Let your logo’s own unique contours be displayed in all their glory, both freeing and giving energy to that space.
Contour graphics by defintion are graphics whose outermost edge is trimmed according to the curves of the image. Those exterior curves now play a more active role on the entire wall. And if the logo exterior contours are not dynamic enough by themselves, then layering below to it, will give it an enhanced dimensional effect. It will be more active in the space it projects out into, no longer restrained by a sheet of glass.
Your logo or image will be more dynamic than ever before, due to the improved digital printing technology as well as breaking those spatial boundaries! This creates an impression of a progressive company, on the cutting edge and full of energy! This is also a great technique for trade show display graphics that reach out and grab the attention of those attendees!
If you would like your company to have that ‘cutting edge’impression in your front lobby, without breaking the bank, then here is what you need:
- A great digital vector file of your designed logo. Colors should be specified to PMS color.
- A great large format graphics printing company which has the equipment as listed below.
- CNC router – This is a Computer Numerically Controlled system which is basically a traditional router that uses computer software and controller electronics to drive a mechanical system. The router moves in three directions known as X, Y, and Z. “X” moves front to back, “Y” moves left to right, and “Z” moves up and down. It does so in perfect synchronization such that the automated result is far superior to the human precision for cutting out contours.
- UV direct printer – This is a direct-to-substrate, state of the art, printer which prints your digital files in sharp detail and vivid color for a reasonable price. It can be ANY substrate, as long as it is no deeper than two inches thick. This is the only limitation for most UV printing equipment. Additional depth can be added later by adhering substrate to substrate for the dimensional effect.
