There are smartphones, smartboards, and smarthouses out there today, but have your heard about a product called a smart wall? This is not the digital product, although digital technology is used to produce it. A single smart wall banner is a graphic display in a special frame which can be multi-purposed for a variety of branding displays needs. This means smart spending within your budget! It can function ‘out in the field’ as a simple tradeshow exhibit or be an event backdrop. When no longer in circulation, it can resume its position as a hanging mural in your front lobby. It can be made into larger dimensions, say up to twenty feet or more.
One investment, dual functionality is the perfect solution when you want to look high end, yet keeping an eye on the bottom line in this recessional economy. A smart wall is a beautiful product yet affordable whether you are a start up company, or simply looking to freshen up your brand. It is a product which is especially suitable to changing out the graphics. If you like to rotate out your art, but don’t have the pockets of Bill Gates like his custom technology chip-driven revolving art pieces in his smart home; then perhaps the smartwall is your solution. If you tire of looking at the same sign season after season, you yourself can easily rotate out that image and install another fabulous fabric image with the same hardware! Like the old Castro-convertible commercial once said,”this is so easy, even a child can do it.”
So what exactly is a smart wall? It is a printed fabric graphic, custom designed for your branding needs. It has a silicone-edge sewn into the fabric graphic’s edge. That silicone edge is then slipped into a specialized frame called an SEG framing system. This special frame has a channel designed to receive the silicone gasket, and functions similarly to a stretched canvas. The frame itself comes equipped with feet for the Smart Wall to stand, and can be enlarged or reduced to suit the size of your graphic. Hardware is also available for converting this standing exhibit to a wall hanging, ready whenever you remove the feet. The fabric graphics are printed by a process called dye sublimation transfer printing. You can find this service by contacting a large format print service provider who specializes in fabric graphics. The fabric graphic solution offers sharp detail and saturate color. This satisfying product is even washable, should it get splashed at a cocktail party! There are green features you may discover with this product because it uses water-based inks, recycled polyester fabrics, and recycled aluminum.
