Tension fabric graphics are a solution for any person or industry who has the need to frequently change out displays for their business or home. Tension stretch graphics are printed on stretch fabric, by a process called dye sublimation printing. The fabric print then will have a silicone gasket sewn into its outer edge, allowing it to glide in and out of its special SEG frame. These specialty frames have an extra channel on the inside perimeter of the frame for accepting the gasket. These specialty frames are called SEG (silicone edge graphic) frames. Once the frame is installed, the fabric prints or fabric graphic can be swapped out for rotating ad campaigns or exhibits or decor purposes. The change out can be done in a matter of minutes, performed by any staff member (if the frame is hung at ground level).
This method of displays is well-suited for retail advertising, museum exhibits, architectural decor elements, airport displays, lobbies of hospitals and other hospitality-type industries. It has many advantages:
- ease of change
- great color saturation and sharpness
- lighter than all former displays, significantly
- materials used can all be recycled, a greener product
- durable, as it won’t damage in transit
- no glass required, means less shipping costs & installation concerns
- aesthetic impact as a warmer appearing product than under glass
- instant wallmural or backdrop for any event
Fabric graphics can be created any print service provider (PSP) that has fabric printing capabilities. Begin your search with a PSP which produces large format or grand format graphics, and ask if they have a dye sublimation fabric printer in-house. Many PSP have ftp sites such that you can send your high resolution file from any location. Some PSP’s will do the frame installation for you, and show you how easy it is to swap out the graphic. If you cannot find someone in your area, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. 1(800)829-4562
