Let us help preserve your treasured art by creating an archival art capture. Environmental factors like temperature storage, light exposure, and gases in storage environments can fade and erode old photographs and oil paintings. Archival art capture is a high resolution digital file, fine-tuned to have the file printer-ready. Early intervention by adjusted exposure for your digital file can help to improve color or recover some damaged areas. This high resolution file creates an unlimited opportunity for reproduction of the art image. Our goal is to match the original as close as possibly, unless your instruction tells us otherwise. We store a copy of your image in our stored digital files as a archival art capture. This enables you in years to come, to retrieve it from our storage for reproductions. We outfit our repro grade camera and lens with a digital scanback called a Betterlight. And for all those with inquisitive minds, we use a red dot Atar flatfield copy lens. It offers superior imaging. We use our Betterlight scanback for all reproductions, even for the oversized originals shot in our big studio. Please give our reproduction staff a call to discuss your concerns about your artwork.
